Click&Boating offers a boat rental platform open to individuals and professionals.
The Services are provided by CLICKANDBOATING LTD, 71-75 SHELTON STREET, COVENT GARDEN, LONDON, , UNITED KINGDOM, WC2H 9JQ.
The Click&Boating platform connects Owners and Tenants to facilitate Co-Navigation or Boat Rental as well as the management of payments between Users. The Services are accessible on the Click&Boating website via the following address www.CLICKANDBOATING.com also available according to the language chosen by the user. A Click&Boating mobile application is also available on the App Store and Google Play.
The Services are described in detail in the General Conditions of Use of Click&Boating which can be consulted at any time on the platform.
Click&Boating is responsible for the processing of personal data collected during your use of our Services and our site, from any connection tool. By registering on the Click&Boating platform, you accept the said processing of personal data by also guaranteeing the accuracy of all the data you provide to our Service.
2-PERSONAL DATA: NEED, PURPOSES, CONSERVATION TIME AND USER RIGHTS
What is personal data? It is a term that encompasses any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (data subject), for example a name, address or telephone number provided. This personal data also concerns direct or indirect identification elements such as an IP address.

Owner data
If you want to rent your boat on Click&Boating, you will also provide information (owner data) additional to the registration data:
– Type of boat
– City where the boat is located
– Port (optional)
– Boat builder
– Boat model
– Type of rental (With or Without Captain, Without Captain, With Captain)
– Authorized capacity
– Basic price per day
– Pictures)
The owner can choose to fill in additional information in order to describe his ad more precisely, such as: length of the boat, width of the boat, draft, engine power, recommended capacity, number of cabins, number of beds, cancellation conditions and check in/check out times. You can also provide other useful information (such as the equipment available) for renting your boat.
If you are a professional owner, you will also be asked for your KBIS, the identity document of the manager of the company as well as the IBAN of the company.
From then on, Click&Boating will use the owner’s data wisely in order to provide him with the best dedicated services.
Tenant data
If you wish to complete your user profile and in order to give more details to the owners regarding your request, you can also provide the following information (tenant data). These are not mandatory in the context of the use of our Services.
The data of the tenant are for example:
– Gender
– Date of Birth
– Spoken languages)
– Address
– Information relating to your nautical level (permit, experience, etc.)
Click&Boating will use the tenant’s data wisely in order to provide him with the best dedicated services.
Messages exchanged on Click&Boating
Click&Boating has the possibility of consulting the messages exchanged between the members via the site or the application to prevent fraud, to improve the Services offered, to help users and also to check that the General Conditions of Use are respected by each any user. In order to verify that no one is circumventing our General Conditions of Use, Click&Boating automatically analyzes certain character strings of the messages exchanged (such as telephone numbers or addresses). This monitoring is for the sole purpose of providing the best possible service.
Payment data
Payment data must be provided in addition to the data mentioned above. They are used to be able to reserve the boat and receive payments following the rental of a boat. This process may also involve requesting a copy of an identity document for the purposes of anti-fraud checks.
The payment details are:
– Owner: IBAN and BIC/SWIFT code
– Tenant: surname and first name of the holder, the last 4 digits and the expiry date of the credit card used for payment. Using a card token through our payment provider allows us to make payments without storing sensitive credit card information.
Online payment transactions are carried out by a secure and encrypted process according to the state of the art.
Click&Boating uses and processes payment data in order to provide its Services. Payment data is processed and stored by our service providers, Stripe and Caisse d’Epargne, in accordance with the rules in force in the e-commerce sector.
Public data
Personal data made public with your consent (such as an evaluation of a boat following a rental) will be considered as public data on the Click&Boating site and its application.
The public data is:
– First name
– Assessment(s) received and given
Other data is likely (if provided) to appear, such as the city of residence, age, nautical skills, permits held, etc.
Click&Boating uses this public data to connect users with each other.
Browsing data
Information is collected and stored in our database (hosted at EliteHostingEurpe) during each use of our site or application. This data is used to continuously improve the quality of our Services and to develop new features. This data is also used by us to prevent fraud through automatic detection systems. This data includes in particular: IP address, location of a user, browsing behavior data, browsing history on the site or application, etc.
Application data
When you use the application, Click&Boating collects and stores data related to the use of the application, the “application data”. For example: the device used, the version of the application used, the photos taken and the electronic signatures for rental agreements.

The data stored by Click&Boating is hosted in the European Union and managed on EliteHostingEurope servers, which respects European data protection law and in particular the GDPR.
